Skating the city is cool.QR codes can be cool too.

QR codes are boring. We know.

That's the whole point. Nobody thinks a QR code is cool, which is exactly why a product that treats them with some care stands out in a market where everything looks like the same blue dashboard. Underneath the illustrations, the engineering is deliberately unglamorous — and every claim on this page is something you can check.

The facts, dry on purpose

We never kill your codes

No expiration, on any plan, ever. Other tools expire a free code in 14 days and take your printed posters down with it. We think that's rude.

Every code is scan-tested

Before a file reaches you, we render it, read it back with a real decoder, and compare it to what you typed. If it doesn't match, you get an explanation instead of a file. A code that doesn't scan is just a rectangle.

Your visitors' IPs are never stored

Location is resolved at the edge and kept coarse — city, region, country. The IP itself never touches our database. Not anonymized later: never written.

No tracking cookies

Not because of a regulation. Because they're tacky. Scan analytics are computed entirely server-side, so nothing of ours runs on your visitors' devices.

No ads on the scan, no watermark

Some free plans show the person scanning your poster an interstitial ad first. Yours goes where you sent it, immediately, and the file has no watermark on any plan.

Nothing is for sale yet

The paid plan is coming, and when it does it will be monthly, cancel whenever. Most of this market is annual-only with a monthly-looking price tag.

Don't take our word for it — scan one

These four were rendered by the same code that runs the Studio, right here on this page, and they all point at it. Point your camera at any of them.

What a dynamic code tells you

A dynamic code is a short link on our domain that you can re-point after printing. Every scan is counted, and the panel below is what you get — daily curve, humans vs. bots, devices, places. No personal data, because we never collected any.

The promise, in writing

"Never expires" is easy to say and easy to walk back, so it lives in our Terms as a commitment: if QR Cool is ever discontinued, you get 12 months of notice, an export of every code and destination, a window to point each one somewhere final, and the redirects keep working for at least 3 more years. Keeping a table of short links alive costs about as much as one dinner a year. Killing them is a business decision, not a technical one.

What it costs

Static codes are unlimited and free, no account. Free accounts hold 2 dynamic codes with 500 counted scans each per month — past that the code keeps redirecting, we just stop counting. Pro, once it opens, removes the ceilings and unlocks the full design gallery.

Cool Pro, coming soon

It will add the full metrics panel, custom slugs and no ceilings. No date here, because we would be making one up. Everything on this page is free in the meantime, and nothing you build now gets taken away later: codes never expire, on any plan, and that is in our Terms. Create a free account and you are the first to know.

We never kill your codes. Killing things is boring.
